Career Testing

Students can gain a better understanding of themselves by discussing their interests and preferences with a Career Counsellor. This discussion can be assisted if the student completes one or more of the following career-related assessments. Because it is important for the student to discuss the results of these tests with a counsellor, it is necessary to make an appointment to see a Career Counsellor. That is, we do not release test results without an interpretation session.

Strong Interest Inventory
This well researched test identifies your major areas of interest and compares interests with those of people in over 100 occupational fields. The Strong Interest Inventory often allows people to identify the career areas which they find most rewarding. Cost: $20.00
 
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
This personality assessment identifies your behaviour preferences. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator has implications for career planning, personal, and professional relationships and preferred work style. Cost: $20.00
