Yoga for Mood Management

Do you experience symptoms of depression that interfere with your personal and academic life? Are you interested in a holistice (mind-body-spirit) approach to managing your mood?

This introductory yoga group will include physical postures, breathing exercises and brief meditations specifically tailored to address the physiological and psychological symprtoms of depression. You will have the opportunity to practice in a safe, supportive environment where your individual experience of depression and physical limits will be respected.

No previous yoga experience is required. The group involves 10 sessions.

This group is free of charge.

If the Group or Workshop is already scheduled
Please make a 20 minute appointment to meet one of the facilitators, to make sure that the group is appropriate to your needs.

If the Group or Workshop is not already scheduled
If we have sufficient interest in this group we will offer it as possible. To show your interest, please come to the Counselling Services and fill our a timetable to show us when you would be available.
